Cork is a natural, ecological and recyclable material.
It comes from the cork oak tree, a specific tree typical from mostly Mediterranean climates, having its biggest expression in the Alentejo and the Algarve regions of southern mainland Portugal.
In a world increasingly sensitive to the preservation of the planet, the collection process is environmentally friendly: the harvest of cork from the tree, every 9 years, allows it to prosper in a world unique ecosystem.
After this step, the cork is treated in a very particular way and handcrafted with great expertise and imagination in the creation of all the cork products in our store.
